Location: In-person at Congregation Sherith Israel in San Francisco and Virtual


SPEAKERS
Dr. Shirley Weber, California Secretary of State and author of AB 3121 that established the California State Task Force to Study and Develop Reparations Proposals for African Americans

Dr. Theopia Jackson, psychologist and co-founder of the Therapist-in-Residency Program in Oakland, an African-centered program dedicated to supervising Black clinicians-in-training

Eric McDonnell, chair of the San Francisco Advisory Committee on Reparations for African Americans

Rev. Amos Brown of Third Baptist Church, vice chair of the CA State Task Force and member of the San Francisco Advisory Committee

Note about break-out tables:  Space at tables is limited to promote meaningful discussion, and due to limited number of facilitators. Please only register for break-outs if you are committed to participating, to ensure space for as many as possible.


Safety/Health Guidelines:

Everyone must register in advance. No walk-ins on day of event.

For security purposes, please do not bring large bags. Best if bags measure 16" x 16" x 8" or smaller.

In-person attendance requires proof of vaccination against COVID-19.  Please bring your vax card and government-issued photo ID.

All guests must wear masks during the program.  The sanctuary is spacious, and we encourage people to spread out.
